And now, here we are, celebrating her first birthday! Such a miracle. What a gracious God we have!
(And yes, I did not have a "1" candle. She got Carver's leftovers from last year. She didn't mind, though, and Laura did a great job blowing it out.)

Anna and David, I have been very blessed to walk this year with you guys... praying and hoping and waiting and praying some more. Thanks so much for faithfully updating us.
Also, have you read anything by Amy Juila Becker? Google her sometime. She has a couple books out. I met her a while back (Jay has known her for a while) and really have been blessed by her, as well (they have a 5 year old who has Down's). She blogs and writes and speaks and I often think how God has taught you similar lessons (and me thru you!).

What a year of trusting in God you've had. And what a year of blessing it has turned out to be. I'm grateful to be able to follow you all on this blog and miss you more with each passing day.
