Montana Trip, Concluded

We had a wonderful vacation. It was great to spend 5 straight weeks together. We are very thankful to our Lord, who has provided David with internet teaching positions for the past 4 years, and know that we would not have been able to do this kind of an extended trip without that provision! We are thankful to our families, who fed and housed us and put up with bratty, and sometimes sweet, children. We're thankful to our friends, who conveniently moved to locations where we could crash with them on the drive there and back. Praise God for the blessings that He showers us with!

I have one sweet story to conclude with:
While we were gone, some friends stayed in our house. They were finishing up the process of building their own house, their lease was up where they were renting, but their house wasn't finished yet. The timing worked out perfectly, and they were able to stay in ours. When we decided to go home one day early after Carver broke his arm, we surprised them by calling from Terre Haute and telling them we were only an hour and a half away. When we pulled into the cul-de-sac, we were greeted by a huge welcoming and cleaning party. My friend was there with her 4 kids, she cleaning and they playing, and her sister and brother-in-law, and our senior pastor (who happens to be her dad), all of them scrubbing the house, inside and out. I walked into the kitchen to find Pastor Bayly up to his elbows in comet. We were thrilled to come home to friends, to be reminded of what we had missed on vacation, and humbled by those who were serving us! Thank you, Lord, for our church family!
